Knock, knock,
knock,
tap, tap, tap,
bang, bang, bang.
There was a knock upon the door,
in the cold darkness of the night,
startled, then it happened once
more,
knock, knock, knock, creating a
fright.
Knock, knock, knock,
tap, tap, tap,
bang, bang, bang.
Awakening from a deep slumbering
sleep,
stumbling about in the mist of the
knock,
down the stairs which seemed so
steep,
fumbling to open the old security
lock.
Knock, knock, knock,
tap, tap, tap,
bang, bang, bang.
The door creaked with an eerie
sound,
gazing at the dark image in front of
me,
I began to sweat, my heart began to
pound,
frozen dead in my tracts I could not
flee.
Knock, knock, knock,
tap, tap, tap,
bang, bang, bang.
Covered in a cloak, a hood upon itfs
head,
in the dark itfs piercing eyes
seemed to glow,
the chill of this spirit from beyond
the dead,
in the air a misty spooky fog seemed
to flow.
Knock, knock, knock,
tap, tap, tap,
bang, bang, bang.
Standing with peering eyes yet as
still as a stone,
itfs boney finger pointed directly
toward my chest,
then feeling itfs touch, in the
rush, I felt so all alone,
knowing in the dark of the night
there would be no rest.
Knock, knock, knock,
tap, tap, tap,
bang, bang, bang.
